Guitar Sculpture
A four-string bass guitar made of hand-carved purpleheart with a paduak neck with a purpleheart fretboard with gold frets. The fairy’s wings also evoke skull imagery. The components are integrated as elements of the composition. The reverse is entitled, “Surgical Procedure”. Controls are on the reverse.
